Making a difference
in the
community.
I Run with Scissors strives to be a business that is interested in healthy, sustainable, kinder community, now
and in the future. By working with local non-profit and outreach groups, schools, charity programs and
individuals, through donations whether you are in need or would like to donate time or money.
Sara's theory on giving.....If we take the approximate population of Eugene/Springfield at 150,000 and each of
those people donated one hour a month of their time to help out in the community. Whether it be helping a
neighbor, the school closest to them, cleaning a park or natural environment or helping an non-profit
organization, just one hour a month will end up with 150,000 hours of community out reach. That ends up
equalling 208 people volunteering 24 hours a day in one month. All it takes is just 60 minutes a month.
